When we are very willingly with such compassion and kindness that we seem to forget ourselves in a way that our boundaries are no longer clear, and become more servants than willing helpers, we could use a little help to gain back our balance with Flower Remedy Centaury.
The blossoms from the Centaury contain the essence to be that soft and gentle horse he is from heart and will support the development of courage and self-determination. Back in balance your horse will be better able to draw the line and set boundaries so he can keep his own space to be himself, free of the desires and commands of others.
With horses and other animals you will notice those that always step aside in situations and obey to keep the peace. They won’t be the leader of the herd but are the loyal, serving followers. Sometimes, in extremer cases, this is at the cost of their well-being! Horses of this type are soft and compliant. They don’t tend to fight back if they are subject to aggression or attack. They may be quiet and introverted and go out of their way to help another creature. Other animals and riders will find it easy to dominate them.
Things to look for:
- Horses who are bullied by other horses and can’t seem to respond or escape
- Horses in a herd who seem not to be getting their fair share of food or shelter
- ‘Soppy’ horses who will do anything for you but seem lost when you are not there
- Horses who have trouble setting sensible boundaries to their personal space
- Horses who never take the initiative and always wait to be led
“Kind, quiet, gentle people who are over-anxious to serve others. They overtax their strength in their endeavours. Their wish so grows upon them that they become more servants than willing helpers. Their good nature leads them to do more than their own share of work, and in so doing they may neglect their own particular mission in life”. Dr. Edward Bach ~
