Heather

Heather is used to widen the perspective of those who are overly wrapped up in their own lives. Those in a negative Heather state can’t bear to be alone and will seek attention from anyone. They enjoy talking about their troubles. They latch on to willing listeners and make it difficult for them to get away. The remedy ancourages Heather types to understand the needs to others and allows them to see their own problems in perspective.

Heather horses will attach themselves to anyone who is prepared to give them even the minimum of encouragement. They may show no real preference for their pair-bond horse or rider, or anyone else. Any audience will do as long as it is prepared to put up with their demand for company and constant attention.

Things to look for:

  • Horses who like people and other horses around, including strangers, and demand attention from them, sometimes using inappropriate behaviour to get what they want
  • Horses who are very vocal or demonstrative and insist in being heard
  • Horses who try to keep with you as much as possible, but do not respond to your calls or signals
